Instead of PUBLIC_INTERFACE i have used FLAT_INTERFACEfrom https://docs.openstack.org/devstack/latest/guides/multinode-lab.html (https://docs.openstack.org/devstack/l...) Still I cant connect to network from instances. I have tried changing br-ex ip on to eno1 ip But no Use. Any other suggestions , where I am going wrong ?

I have working Devstack configuration with Sahara Installed. When I try to launch Hadoop Clusters with MapR Image and Ambari Images , It fails with the following error

What Could be the Problem and How to solve it ? Thanks

• I believe the problem is with the internet access in the instances launched by sahara.
• I am able to ssh into instances in the local network. I am able to ping host machine from my instance.
• But I can't ping http://google.com or http://github.com from the instance.
• How do I get the external internet access in the instance so that it uses the host internet connectivity ?

The Glance deployed uses swift as backend storage service. During devstack deployment the swift default storage is given as 2GB. So, when images size increases more than 2GB, The swift reaches its maximum limit and images get queued. Change the SWIFT_LOOPBACK_DISK_SIZE_DEFAULT to 15G (as you require) from default 2Gin https://opendev.org/openstack/devstack/src/branch/master/lib/swift#L64 (https://opendev.org/openstack/devstac...) (i.e in devstack/lib/swift file) and run stack.sh. I am changing SWIFT_LOOPBACK_DISK_SIZE_DEFAULT value to 15G which is 2Gby default in https://opendev.org/openstack/devstack/src/branch/master/lib/swift#L64 (https://opendev.org/openstack/devstac...) and re-run stack.sh , Will let you know if it works. Thank You for the response :)

Yea , df command shows the swift storage as 98% used.

I have re installed devstack a couple of times because of this but the error is the same always. I have tried increasing the max_file_size in swift.conf but no change in the error.

The error says Failed to add object to the swift , No Space left in the device But I have 200Gb of free space on my hard drive. I have added the log files. The swift seems to work fine with creating containers and text file uploads. But the image files are not being uploaded to containers

I have a working Devstack installation.But the glance does not seem to work with images which are greater than 2GB.(Images remain in queued state forever) I have tried various solutions available on the internet , Checked the default image upload size , Nothing seems to work. If i configure glance through normal installation and rest of the services with the devstack , Will it get integrated properly and work as intended ?

The images I have been trying to upload are the data processing sahara images I have created using image-create tool.The cloudera , MapR images are over 4Gb.

How did you solve this error ? I am facing with the same error. I tried re-creating the sahara and the horizon container , but It did not work.

I have configured openstack(including sahara) using ansible playbooks. Everything works fine except for sahara. When I open the data processing section in the horizon dashboard , It shows

Error: Unable to fetch cluster list Error: Unable to fetch Image List

similar error messages for plugin list , jobs and all.

I have tried re-constructing the sahara-container and horizon-container and installing them. But the error still remains.

If I try to use the command line , It throws the following error

Failed to contact the endpoint at http://172.29.236.100:8386 for discovery. Fallback to using that endpoint as the base url. Failed to parse response from Sahara: Service Unavailable

My guess is the sahara-api is not working properly. How to fix it , or Am I missing something else ?

I tried doing as stated , now the installation stops with error , glance-api failed to start

• Unable to create image in openstack devstack queens.
• It was working fine a couple of days ago,Now the images are not being uploaded/deleted from both horizon and command line. The error I get is stated above.
• I have tried upgrading apache2 , did not solve the issue.
• Following https://bugs.launchpad.net/glance/+bug/1703856 (This bug) , I have tried increasing the socket time .Did not help. And i have taken the different packages from the link and rerun ./stack.sh with the packages, same error again , while cirros image creation.
• And the thing is there is same bug in both of my PC's with openstack installed on them.
