The command : openstack server show <name of="" instance=""> -c OS-EXT-STS:power_state is the closest we can get

The same command - does not work with openstack server list --all-projects -c Name -c OS-EXT-STS:power_state

it seems a bug or documentation issue - the columns are case sensitive - however in output of "openstack server show" the name is "name", but if given as filter, it should be "Name"

Tried that too: - no luck, it does not look like a legal column

openstack server list -c ID -c Name -c OS-EXT-STS:power_state

Hi

Trying to get the ouput for a limited set of columns in the below cli

openstack server list -c ID -c Name -c 'Power Status' openstack server list -c ID -c Name -c "Power Status"

No matter, what i try the column does not get listed at all

if i run command openstack server list --long I get below columns in output

| ID | Name | Status | Task State | Power State | Networks | Image Name | Image ID | Availability Zone | Host | Properties

there is no man page that i can search for the actual column name and help "openstack help server list" does not display any help.

this sounds very silly and simple, but my google search has not helped.

could anyone please help?

 Hi

We are bringing up Mitaka version for our testing.
However, after installing the version for nova is showing up as 14 instead of the expected version 13 (as per release notes)

Below are some details

> [root@olive ~]# cat
> /etc/centos-release CentOS Linux
> release 7.2.1511 (Core) [root@olive
> ~]# [root@olive ~]# rpm -qa | grep -i
> -e nova -e mitaka -e newton openstack-nova-api-14.0.0-1.el7.noarch
> openstack-nova-common-14.0.0-1.el7.noarch
> openstack-nova-novncproxy-14.0.0-1.el7.noarch
> openstack-nova-scheduler-14.0.0-1.el7.noarch
> openstack-nova-compute-14.0.0-1.el7.noarch

> python2-novaclient-6.0.0-1.el7.noarch
> openstack-nova-conductor-14.0.0-1.el7.noarch
> [root@olive ~]# nova-manage --version
> 14.0.0 [root@olive ~]#

The preinstall and install scripts used are attached.( i am trying to attach, but it seems i need 10 points to attach and this is my first post :-)

Any hints on what went wrong in the install and steps to rectify.

We are using the install steps from the page : official openstack page.

Thanks, satya
