2015-02-23 05:59:40 -0600 asked a question Docker and Cinder, is it possible in openstack?

Hello

Is it possible to mount Cinder volumes on docker containers in openstack?

And if it is, is there a way to encrypt data leaving the container to the cinder volume?

I was thinking of mounting the volume as a loopback device and encrypt the data as it was being flushed to the disk. Ist this possible?

Kind regards

2015-02-19 08:04:04 -0600 asked a question Api Key generation for a Docker container

Hello everyone. This is the first time i ask a question here so, please, bear with my "noobness".

I am doing my thesis on security on PaaS and i am using OpenStack as a proof of concept. I know, OS is not not PaaS, but i will be using Docker to make it happen.

1)Is this the right thing to do?

If it is, my application may need to use OS services such as Swift and Cinder and i need credentials to use those services.

2)Is it possible to generate an api key or a token with no expiration date to put inside the docker image, so my app can use the OS services?

3)Are you aware of a good way to use OS services within an app?

Kind regards
