yeah, logically this is the case but the problem is, I can't trace anything out because there is no pattern to the connectivity. And the sadest part is that even I don't have any idea, how this problem can be regenerated.

Yes, I do have a floating-IP range on the external network. I allocated 20 floating-IPs. Yes, each instance is having its own floating-IP. One more thing I want to add that, the internal network (vm to vm connectivity) is working fine in each case.

I have the RDO single node installation on CentOS-6.5. Everything is working properly except the fact that I am getting the internet (external network) access to only either host or guest OS (one at a time). It is just switching in between randomly (means, it goes suddenly down, in both the host and guest OS case). There is no error in neutron log files, while I am running the services in debug mode. The status of router's gateway is showing always "down".
