2014-09-18 09:30:27 -0500 asked a question VMware hypervisor with no cluster

I'm using the latest version of DevStack (I checked out commit 4c8af9) and I want to connect it to our VMware VSphere host. Our host has no cluster, so I left the configuration in my local.conf empty:

Unfortunately, nova fails with the following error:

Error: Service n-cpu is not running

When I look into the n-cpu logs it says

2014-09-18 16:03:10.829 19857 TRACE nova   File "/opt/stack/nova/nova/virt/vmwareapi/", line 1183, in get_all_cluster_refs_by_name
2014-09-18 16:03:10.829 19857 TRACE nova     path_list = [path.strip() for path in path_list]
2014-09-18 16:03:10.829 19857 TRACE nova TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterable

Is there any way to configure the VMware hypervisor to not use a cluster?
