Hi Shankar,

The example template you posted above doesn't work for me - it gives this error: ERROR: u'"image" is not a valid keyword inside a resource definition'. According to this documentation ( http://docs.openstack.org/developer/h... ), docker_endpoint and image should be under the properties header.

I'm still trying to figure out a fix for MissingSchema error. I tried changing the docker container to this: my_docker_container: type: DockerInc::Docker::Container properties: docker_endpoint: str_replace: template: http://host params: host: {get_attr:[my_instance, first_address]} image: {get_param: image_id}

I get a new error now: Resource Create Failed: Connectionerror: Httpconnectionpool(Host='10.0.0.2', Port=80): Max Retries Exceeded With Url: /V1.12/Containers/Create (Caused By <class 'socket.error'="">: [Errno 113] Ehostunreach)

I'll keep trying..

Hi Shankar,

Please let me know if you can reproduce the issue. Like Yuemin mentioned, I followed the guide above.

Thank you! Sabeen

2014-07-02 15:12:11 -0500 asked a question Running docker on devstack

I installed docker as a plugin on devstack following this: https://github.com/openstack/heat/tree/master/contrib/docker/docker (https://github.com/openstack/heat/tre...) . I had to make some changes though, instead of: ln -sf $(cd heat/contrib/docker-plugin/plugin; pwd) /usr/lib/heat/docker, I did this: ln -sf $(cd docker/resources; pwd) /usr/lib/heat/docker and then I manually added this: /opt/stack/heat/contrib/docker/docker/resources into etc/heat/heat.conf.

After that I'm trying to deploy this template (this is just to ensure that it's working, I know that it's not doing anything special): https://github.com/BeenzSyed/Templates/blob/master/simple_docker.yaml (https://github.com/BeenzSyed/Template...)

I get this error when I try to spin up the stack: my_docker_container MissingSchema: Invalid URL u'10.0.0.2/v1.12/containers/create': No schema supplied. Perhaps you meant http://10.0.0.2/v1.12/containers/create (http://10.0.0.2/v1.12/containers/create?)

What change do I need to make to get this working?

Thank you!!!
