Hi,

I have same issue with Pike and Centos7. I deployed with Kolla.

Failed to update device 176307e6-1379-479e-b7c8-1198412b4a51 down: AgentNotFoundByTypeHost: Agent with agent_type=L3 agent and host=compute02 could not be found

But I use OVS so I think the issue is about neutron code or ml2 but not with linuxbridge or OVS code.

2015-11-03 09:22:48 -0500 answered a question VMware static IP configuration using Nova FlatManager

We use neutron for Vmware. (No need NSX)

But I guess your pb is a communication pb. Try to console in your VM by Vsphere and add an IP.

After that, try to ping your DHCP IP. You can see this ip on your network node with "ip netns exec DHCPID ifconfig".

If ping is OK it's your vm which not in DHCP MODE.

For a personal project, I would be able to start a virtual machine that I have already configured on Amazon AWS. From Horizon I would like to integrate the account I have on AWS and the virtual machines I have running locally based on OpenStack. Is this possible and how can I achieve it?
