When I attempt to create a volume the status is always "error". When i look in the cinder log file, I get many:

2016-11-10 23:56:02 -0500 marked best answer OpenStack Dashboard - Invalid HTTP_HOST header (you may need to set ALLOWED_HOSTS)

RHEL 6.5. When I installed Dashboard, I made the change to ALLOWED_HOSTS to add my system's name. When I try to login in, both Chrome and IE give me "an unexpected error has occurred". I've tried both FQDN and just the canonical name. I have no idea what's going on. Can anybody help????

The /var/log/httpd/error_log shows me:

I created a test image then asked it to terminate, and it won't go away. The current status is:

# nova list

+--------------------------------------+----------------+--------+------------+-------------+----------+

Any ideas you can supply or logs I can provide? It's been in this state for over an hour.

Attempting to launch instances, and the nova compute log contains:

InvalidBDM: Block Device Mapping is Invalid.

This happens on every attempt to launch. The volume I need is indeed there and created.

HELP!

2014-06-23 09:32:58 -0500 commented question Can't delete image in nova

Just 1. I have 2 compute nodes (1 with xen, 1 with KVM). Nothing has made this work. I'm really wondering if something's fundamentally wrong since I've never been able to successfully launch any image, let alone delete the failed ones. I've even gone so far as to blow every system away and totally rebuild the cloud.
