2014-03-06 19:06:56 -0500 asked a question is there way to boot up a instance with 2 QCOW2 images which show up as two disk drives in the guest OS??

while trying to spawn multiple instances i need to pass per instance data to my instance during boot up..i tried config drive option..But it seems the config drive is in iso9660 format. But for my application i require a second drive which is mounted in qcow2 format instead of the raw format used in config drive..

im using havana version

2014-03-06 18:52:59 -0500 commented answer How to import a VMWare VM with multiple drives?

does this solution work with havana release as well?? im trying to use this approach to load to qcow2 disk images. it seems after soft reboot the contents of libvirt.xml are rewritten to the original disk config..
