2013-06-09 10:11:40 -0500 answered a question Cinder services not authorized after reinstallation

I too faced the same issue and I found the reason is the in correct user information I have put in the /etc/cinder/cinder.conf As a solution I have created a user named "cinder" and added the user to the tenant "service" which I have already added. The I have granted admin role to the newly created user cinder

Now my /etc/cinder/cinder.conf looks as follows...

admin_user = cinder admin_tenant_name = service admin_password = <password of="" the="" user="" "cinder"<="" p="">
