Openstack community will warmly welcome guys that can make Openstack as a better cloud operating system.Since openstack had already contains set of predifined test suites that can test the functionality and working of stack. My suggestion is make a blueprint with your testsuite and submit it in launchpad.

2014-03-14 05:15:45 -0500 answered a question devstack on 13.10 upgraded from 12.10, doesnt run ./stack.sh

When you clone the devstack base you won't get any localrc file. You atleast need to minimum configuration in order to run stack.sh. Follow the instructions in the follwoing link.

2014-03-14 04:03:53 -0500 answered a question How we can customize openstack dashboard

If you want add some feautures to openstack-dashboard, Insatll openstack on your local machine. Go to the following

/opt/stack/horizon/openstack_dashboard/dashboards/project/

and there you can add your own panels like Manage Networks and you can add forms views etc. you can configure url's for your views and can do lot more.

@darragh-orielly from the above answer, if you are running stack as a devstack implementation, all the services will be automatically stop on system shutdown then there is no use of ./rejoin-stack.sh. rejoin-stack.sh is only used when your services are running.

2014-03-07 03:17:09 -0500 answered a question ImportError: No module named django.core.handlers.wsgi

Just check your python packages installed in your system and also check the django version, havana needs django version 1.5, if you already have the version just delete it and try to run stack after re-instalingl, I think this would solve your problem.

2014-03-07 01:01:39 -0500 asked a question why do we need to unstack and stack it again when we turn off the system??

I'm a new to openstack and installed latest Havana in my laptop. After I shutdown it and restart it later, when I try to login into the dashboard even after entering the valid credentials it gives me error like Authentication failed. Then I unstack it and stack using ./stack.sh it works fine there after. What I want to know is why it is necessary and are there any specific reasons behind this.

Thanks in advance.
