Yes, it does, but I'm not aware o a simple guide for doing this.

I suggest starting by setting IRONIC_IS_HARDWARE=True in your devstack config file, and then looking at your neutron configuration to make sure it is exposing dnsmasq on the correct port and network.

Some relevant documentation is available here - http://docs.openstack.org/developer/i... - and here - http://docs.openstack.org/developer/i...

2016-08-25 13:09:42 -0600 answered a question Existance of Nova Ironic and nova libvirt on same Devstack setup

Devstack only starts a single nova-compute service, and it is not possible to load two virt drivers into the same nova-compute service. If you want to run both libvirt and ironic virt drivers, you need to install them on separate hosts.

If everything else is correct with the flavor, node.properties, and nova/ironic configuration, then I suspect the problem stems from this option: "--nic net-id=cf9e60fa-1e62-4af7-af58-b9407c209824". Try removing that and booting again.

2016-01-08 10:31:43 -0600 answered a question Ironic: No valid host was found. There are not enough hosts available.

This is probably due to a mismatch between the Nova flavor and the Ironic Node's "properties" attribute. Please see the document linked below, which includes troubleshooting steps for identifying where the mismatch is.
