2014-01-13 05:37:20 -0500 asked a question Help with devstack!

devstack stops working after reboot, so I have to run unstack.sh before reboot and run stack.sh again...what is the correct way for using devstack so that I don't have to do this everytime...I tried reading the stack.sh but it is beyond me. Also when I install openstack on a single machine I can see the openstack sevices running but in case of devstack I cannot see any of the services i.e. nova etc running? Could someone please throw light on these issues....Any help is deeply appreciated!

Bill thanks for these links! I had removed my CentOS installation and am installing everything again. I need to know which OpenStack configuration files should be modified inorder to assign the new ip address that has been acquired by my computer in place of the one with which openstack was configured. Thanks again for these link, they are helpful to understand what I am working with!

Thank you very much for the reply! Could you please also guide me as to how should I install RDO that it takes hostname instead of ip address. Currently my /etc/hosts file only contains loopback address and localhost. I did give a hostname while installing CentOS.

Hello. I had installed RDO with an IP address 49.205.142.254. Now is it possible to change the IP address to something else and still have RDO work or do I have to un-install RDO and re-install it if the IP changes?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
