I am using ubuntu 18.04. I am trying to deploy multinode openstack.

I am executing the command- sudo microstack.init, I am getting the following error. Kindly help out.

2020-06-09 02:23:54 -0600 asked a question openstack software at admin and user nodes

I want a simple cloud setup. I want a network with an admin PC and other user PCs. The users should be able to use/access the admin PC resources(compute, storage, and memory). Is OpenStack a right platform for this type of setup? If yes, then what are the Softwares to be used at the admin and user points/nodes to make up this model? Kindly respond.

Thanks for your response.

I basically want my physical PC(as a host/controller/admin) to be on a cloud to be used by other users. The users should have a full access to my PC resource(computing module, storage, memory). We need software running on both ends. Can OpenStack fulfill this requirement

Hi, I am new to openstack.

I actually want to do a POC cloud wherein my host PC with Ubuntu 18.04 needs to be virtualized on the cloud and other person can access my PC(compute, storage, memory..basically complete hardware of my PC). The admin needs to maintain a dashboard to regulate and control his host PC resources and the users requesting and accessing them. Even the users should have a dashboard to check the availability/vacancy of the admin hardware.

Is this possible with openstack? If yes then what are the openstack Softwares to be used on the admin PC and the user nodes.

And can this model be applied on a raspberry pi using openstack software?

Kindly help out. It's critical.

Thanks Mudassir
