The public cloud that I speak is the network that openstack gives to go out to the internet, it is the gateway that connects to the server's NIC. I used that term because I read it in the documentation.

I installed the pike because it was the first option I found, which one do you recommend? I really want to learn everything from openstack and accept recommendations for places where I can learn. Thank you in advance, thank you.

The ip of the external network to which I connect is: 172.24.4.0 (I don't know if this is what you want), in relation to the configuration I did not change it because it was working without creating an internal network, only from the internal network that is not working.

I can connect the instance on the internet only when I connect directly to a public cloud.

Hi, I'm using the default public cloud that openstack gave me (all in one), I installed openstack pike, I didn't do any configuration. The router has connectivity with the instance and with the physical server, it is not doing routing between the two networks. I allocated floating ip normally.

2020-03-09 09:04:32 -0500 asked a question Router not routing between internal and external network in openstack

I put a floating ip in one instance and she can't get out to the internet, I can ping the two interfaces of the router (internal and external) from one instance, but the router does not route to the physical interface.

note: I can connect to the internet by connecting the instance directly to a public network, but not from an internal network.

When I connect the router to two internal networks it routes normally.

I don't know if the problem is with the floating ip or the router.

I'm new to openstack and I'm still learning.

sorry, how i do this? I've tried everything and I couldn't

2020-01-22 11:48:39 -0500 asked a question instance is in the installation loop

hi i'm new to openstack, and i created a centos image and then uploaded an instance and installed the operating system, only when restarting centos it goes to the installation screen again and not the boot in linux. I put two hard drives, one for the image iso and one for the operating system but only the installation starts.

2020-01-20 06:38:19 -0500 commented answer I finished installing devstack on CentOS 7 and gave this error in the log: ... / wsgi.py' cannot be loaded as Python module.

hi this is how apache, python and wsgi are configured according to the log:

Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) OpenSSL/1.0.2k-fips mod_wsgi/3.4 Python/2.7.5 configured -- resuming normal operations

I gave execution permission to all users in the wsgi.py file.
