2019-06-08 10:03:12 -0600 asked a question Instance not connected to internet failing.

I am deploying OpenStack Queen using three nodes .i.e. Controller, compute and storage. I follow the procedure in the official OpenStack website. Now everything is perfectly working but the only thing I am facing an issue is the Internet issue in the instance. When launching Instance I am giving two Ips one is for external network .i.e. 172.16.0.xx and other one is for internal network IP i.e. 192.168.0.XX but I was unable to ping that instance to the internet. I check neutron status in the controller node and it shows this error:

    ● neutron-server.service - OpenStack Neutron Server

Jun 04 06:53:39 controller systemd[1]: Started OpenStack Neutron Server.

Jun 06 06:44:56 controller systemd[1]: [/lib/systemd/system/neutron-server.service:13] Unknown lvalue 'CacheDirectory' in section 'Service'

After a restart this neutron server then it shows nothing error but after few minutes it gives same error what is the issue please tell and if anyone who want more detail about this installation process or someone who want to help me please give me skype ID that I will give you a complete detail Thanks.

Don't be confused it's very simple that I already mention is that I follow the tutorial and for cinder configuration I need other VM that is object storage node and simply I am configuring

I think you want to attach a volume to the instance I just follow the tutorial that you gave me for cinder configuration and on this tutorial, it configures the physical volume my aim is to solve the error that I mentioned before. To solve this issue we discussed that we need to configure cinder

I am doing openstack queen installation i follow this tutorial for openstack queen installation:

https://docs.openstack.org/install-guide/openstack-services.html (https://docs.openstack.org/install-gu...)

I am installing this on KVM guest i have 2 nodes contoller and compute, glance, keystone , nova successfully install with verification but when i am installing neutron and trying to verifying with typing this command

openstack extension list --network

It will give me this error error :

Failed to contact the endpoint at http://controller:9696 for discovery. Fallback to using that endpoint as the base url. Failed to contact the endpoint at http://controller:9696 for discovery. Fallback to using that endpoint as the base url. Failed to retrieve extensions list from Network API

So tell me what is the issue and how i can check log file for this error.

In that case i install dashboard but when i select on network options it shows this error notification:

Error: Unable to check if network availability zone extension is supported

Error: Unable to check if DHCP agent scheduler extension is supported

Error: Network list can not be retrieved.

So i am facing these kind of issues please some one help me to sort out this issue

When i check the neutron server status it shows this output:
