Hello Marcos Are u using Open vSwitch in your setup ? if yes they pls check if ext network (eth0) is connected to br-ex bridge which in-turn will be connected to br-int where your instance (qvo-qvb) veth-pair , floating and router namespace will be connected.

I had same issue but after i connected ext interface to Bridge (br-ex) it worked liked charm. BR Sheshadri

Hello Experts

I am getting issue while launching instance in Packstack-Queens.

I am using RHEL7.6 server (All in one installation)

I went through the keystone and nova-api logs and found below warnings

2019-02-26 14:36:42.526 29927 WARNING keystonemiddleware.auth_token [-] Using the in-process token cache is deprecated as of the 4.2.0 release and may be removed in the 5.0.0 release or the 'O' development cycle. The in-process cache causes inconsistent results and high memory usage. When the feature is removed the auth_token middleware will not cache tokens by default which may result in performance issues. It is recommended to use memcache for the auth_token token cache by setting the memcached_servers options.

Does anybody facing such issue? please share you experiences.

Hello All,

After checking the routing and Port forwarding on all the nodes (Router ,Iptables, VM Routing table , netstat etc). I found the issue on our Organization VPN firewall due to to which i was facing above mentioned issue . I contacted the IT guys to help me out but it seems the Org have strict policy over firewall they rejected the request to enable the ports .

Thanks Sheshadri

Hello Stackers

I am having Openstack Pike Installed on Virtual box 6.0 (Devstack) . I am using Ubuntu 16.04 server as platform. Created 3 network Adapter 1. Host-only 2. NAT- Provider Network 3. NAT - NAT network

All the Services inside the VM is working normal ,Haven't found any abnormality or any anomaly. But still i got this problem of intermittent connectivity to VM via putty and Horizon.

One fine day Putty and horizon will work like charm and in bad days it doesn't not respond at all. Whenever i try to connect via putty or horizon i get "Network Error: Connection time out(putty fatal error)" and "This site cant be reached" error respectively.

I tried to restart the networking , ssh service via systemctl command but didn't help.

If any one faced such issue ,please enlighten us.
