Hi

Have any one tried to integrate openstack with zabbix using zcp (zabbix ceilometer proxy). If so just give a hint on that.

Thanks, Hariprasath M

The metrics are available now for VM, we have to extract the resource usage of VM, such as cpu, disk utilization, ram utilization, VM uptime alone. if we get these things as a value of cost. we can present it to customer.

If I keep self-service subnet different from overlay network IP series, then how the interlink will happen between those different subnets. Can we able to trace that ?

2019-05-09 00:49:33 -0500 answered a question Windows VM CPU Processor count is invalid

Actually it has been resolved when set the socket,cores and threads in Flavor property. By default socket has been updated as 16 when I checked the VM's libvirt file. And I changed to socket=2,cores=8,threads=1. Now I can see the actual VCPS inside the VM.

eg:

openstack flavor set <flavor name>
                                   --property hw:cpu_sockets=2
                                   --property hw:cpu_cores=8
                                   --property hw:cpu_threads=1

Then used this flavor to create VM. Once created the VM the CPU topology will be

<topology sockets='2' cores='8' threads='1'/>

In VM's virish xml file.

Hi

Actually we have to use

or should mention appropriate type in OS::Aodh::XXX

Previously I was tried with OS::Ceilometer::Alarm and that is what the Issue in resources filed.
