I have an open stack server as backup storage. The backup is done by Cloudberry Backup. When Cloduberry tries to synchronize its repository the open stack server return error 503 service unavailable after a certain time with the following details:

The server is currently unavailable. Please try again at a later time.

What can be the reason for this error, the service seems to be available, when I check the server and the server is not overloaded, in fact this is a test environment.

Thanks, Florian

Hi, I am using open stack swift on a QNAP NAS as object storage for backups. As client software I am using cloudberry backup. Meanwhile uploading and downloading files or backups is working like a charm, I have serious problems, when the software tries to index the object storage where the backup is stored. In sporadic time segments during calling list objects, the open stack server returns error 503, Service unavailable. Therefore the software cannot finish the indexing.

This happens in the local network as well as over the WAN. I already checked the configuration, there everything seams to be fine. And this error only occurs on this certain operation, no problems in downloading or uploading files and folders. I also checked the capazity of the server, there are no indicators, that the server is overloaded.

Probably someone can give be an hint, Florian
