2019-04-10 03:10:44 -0500 asked a question Heat is not working in devstack openstack pike installation

Hi,

I have installed openstack pike on ubuntu 16.04 using devstack. Heat is also installed along with devstack only. Heat services are active and running, and heat and heat-cfn service are there . But when i tried to list orchestartion service list, it is throwing an Error. Heat endpoints are also there. PFB for complete log for the CLI.

stack@contoller:~$ openstack orchestration service list ERROR: The server could not comply with the request since it is either malformed or otherwise incorrect. stack@contoller:~$

Below it the error found with journalctl -f -u devstack@h-api.service ......... Apr 11 11:41:12 contoller devstack@h-api.service[15034]: ERROR heat.common.wsgi [None req-a4cb26a7-4da0-40a1-b6ae-b16256dbcaac demo admin] Exception handling resource: __init__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'user_id'

Can somebody help me with this asap. Thanks in advance.

2018-10-30 10:56:47 -0500 asked a question why Failed to allocate network(s): VirtualInterfaceCreateException: Virtual Interface creation failed

Hi all,

I have openstack Pike installed with devstack. I have my own mechanism driver to create vhost socket. when i am spawning an VM, my mechanism drivers is working fine, creating vhost socket, and updating port bind details with vhost path and mode. But after VM get into Spawning state ,it will stay for some 5 to 8 min in the same state and after that VM enters into ERROR state.

PFB for nova logs,

2018-09-17 09:38:22 -0500 asked a question Is there any way to provide qemu commandline arguments while creating an VM?

Hi all,

I have openstack installed with allinone mode with linux bridge as l2. Now i want to disable neutron in openstack, and we have a source which will provide an port which needs to be attached to VM. equivalent qemu command to spawn VM with port is working fine. Need to do same thing in openstack, while creating VM in openstack i need to send some qemu command line argumets which i am passing when i used my qemu command , so that i can get same result. But i have not found any option in nova boot command to do this. Please help me in this. If i disabled neutron service VM creation will work? It need code changes? and can i send these qemu cmdline arguments with metadata/user-data option? if not planning to add some more arguments to nova boot cmd to pass these qemu arguments, how can i start with this? What is the difficulty i can face here?

Plaese help me with suggestions / comments .Thanks in advance.
