2018-04-03 11:54:12 -0600 asked a question How to use Grafana with Gnocchi?

Hi, I have installed Gnocchi by manual, but I am still confused, how to use Grafana. Only few manuals online, but different approaches.

I have OpenStack Queens installed by DevStack script on my Ubuntu 16. So my idea is to use [1] in ~/devstack/local.conf

enable_service gnocchi-grafana

and install by ./stack.sh

and changed /etc/gnocchi/gnocchi.conf, /etc/ceilometer/ceilometer.conf and /etc/keystone/keystone.conf to: [2]

...
[cors]
allowed_origin = *
...

But i do not know, what is next. Is it enough? How to set https://"myname".grafana.net datasource to Gnocchi to work properly? I am using keystone, so I am not sure, if i should choose "Direct" or "Proxy" and how to set properties. Grafana manual is not accurate enough. [3]

I am getting 404 or Keystone failure: No response status code, is CORS correctly configured ?

Or do i need some filters or pipelines settings? https://blog.sileht.net/configuring-cors-for-gnocchi-and-keystone.html (Like this)

2018-04-03 11:54:12 -0600 asked a question Gnocchi API responses 401 Unauthorised

I have prepaired Gnocchi by documentation at https://gnocchi.xyz/stable_4.2/rest.html. I am using Keystone, but I am not able to make a request.

Sample:

GET http://<serverIP>:8041/v1/metric/0b5aa633-3ebf-49d5-99ad-e78302c41376 HTTP/1.1

Response:

date: Fri, 30 Mar 2018 20:24:26 GMT
server: Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu)
www-authenticate: Keystone uri='http://127.0.0.1/identity'
content-length: 114
connection: close
content-type: application/json

{
    "error": {
    "message": "The request you have made requires authentication.",
    "code": 401,
    "title": "Unauthorized"
    }
}

I have OpenStack Queens installed by DevStack script on my Ubuntu 16.

I have only admin credentials, how can i get X-Auth-Token required? Or is the request bad?
