2018-12-05 02:53:33 -0500 answered a question How to change Keystone

Hi Ben,

There are lot of file and layer in keystone which are responsible for token issue code. It depends on what change you want to do.

Below is the code flow for token issue and validate code. Once you do modify then, you can restart the keystone service.

2018-04-18 03:03:55 -0500 answered a question Example of tempest test cases running parallel

Tempest tests implementation are not different to run as serial or parallel. Its test runner who decide whether tests needs to be run in parallel or serially as per arg passed to them.

One example is using stestr - http://stestr.readthedocs.io/en/lates...

Or you can check the Tempest run CLI manual for that - https://docs.openstack.org/tempest/la...

2018-04-18 02:59:00 -0500 answered a question Is there a way to dynamically enable debugging for nova-compute?

Now you can do that. This means you change debug config option value and reload them (usually via SIGHUP) at runtime, without a service restart.

Nova has done that support since newton i think. You can get more info here - https://docs.openstack.org/oslo.confi...

2018-04-14 22:23:49 -0500 answered a question More than one endpoint exists with the name 'nova'.

Yea, as Bernd mentioned there will be 3 service endpoint you are seeing for admin, internal, public. Or you can filter with --interface type For example:

ubuntu@openstack-nti-7:~$ openstack endpoint list --interface admin

2018-03-14 10:26:27 -0500 answered a question How can I contribute if I`m junior-level developer?

Hi, Thanks for showing interest in OpenStack and really sorry for late response.

We have First Contact SIG now to help new contributors - https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/First_Contact_SIG (https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/First...)

Or ping any of member on #openstack-dev IRC channel. - Info on IRC channel here - https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/IRC

If you have your interested project to start we have project liaison who can help and mentor you to start.

Otherwise i will say to start understanding any software, starting from its testing is easy way to understand that. OpenStack QA does responsible for testing and stability of OpenStack. If you are interested in QA, you can find more information on this wiki- https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/QA Or ping core team (or me with irc name gmann) on #openstack-qa IRC channel.
