From the first link: "Check that you are not specifying the credentials information in both nova.conf and api-paste.conf. Sometimes we keep trying many things. We copy credentials everywhere. Pease keep credentials in api-paste.conf" I had the credentials in both files.Thanks for the response.

Thanks for your response but I couldn't solve it. I cleaned the endpoint mess and now I have different error: ERROR: [Errno 111] Connection refused While from the cinder server I got a different error than before: ERROR: Unauthorized Would you see my nova.conf file and api-paste.ini to tell me if something is wrong. By the way the controller IP in the packstack installation and in the endpoint-list is set to the external IP, not the 10.2.0... from the management network, as the other servers are.Cinder and nova-api are on the controller and only they give me authentication errors.

Hi, I have installed OpenStack Grizzly using packstack and I have this error. glance image-list and keystone server/user/endpoint list work. At first I tried it on single node all-in-one and then I installed it on different servers several times, because of errors and now my keystone endpoint-list returns around 30 entries(below is the link). While ago I edited some of them and now they have a different region name("regionOne" vs "RegionOne"). Also I was reading two guides for installing and they offer different nova.conf and api-paste.ini files. In the packstack version: there is no [filter:authtoken] section, while in docs.openstack it is said to add it: Also in the nova.conf file in the packstack version the is no my_ip configuration while in docs.openstack has to be added. I checked and the are glance,nova etc. users in keystone. Also do I need nova.conf and api-paste.ini files in the controller node also?

Thanks for the answers.For the present I'm staying with GRE and I will use my management private network 10.2.0.x which connects all of the nodes.

Thanks for your fast answer. So for this setting I can write the MANAGEMENT_INTERFACE_IP but wouldn't it be a potential security risk?

2013-12-10 04:52:50 -0500 asked a question Local_ip for GRE tunnels

Hi, I am installing Neutron(in my version (Grizzly) is still named quantum) and I got to the point.

On the Network node I have two NICs - one for "Management network" and one for external internet access.On the compute node I have only one - for the "Management network".I got to the point in one guide where I need to provide local_ip for both of the nodes:

tenant_network_type = gre
tunnel_id_ranges = 1:1000
enable_tunneling = True
integration_bridge = br-int
tunnel_bridge = br-tun

My questions is - Do i need to create another interface on both of the machines and add them private addresses?
