I have deployed an Ubuntu OpenStack Newton setup using MAAS and JUJU. As per setup requirement, I want to update the cinder.conf file manually. But, configuration file has warning as mentioned below and juju agent overwrite the contents, whatever we update manually. Please suggest how to overcome the issue.

I had faced similar issue.

root@srv1:~# cinder list ERROR: Unable to establish connection to http://192.0.2.25:8776/v2/7bd7c0c8a9ee4c84ab09b7b22ff91d4f/volumes/detail (http://192.0.2.25:8776/v2/7bd7c0c8a9e...)

To rectify the issue. I have edited parameter "osapi_volume_listen = " of cinder.conf, the osapi IP changed from 0.0.0.0 to 192.0.2.25(IP of the cinder node). Also populated /etc/hosts file with ip and host name of all nodes.

root@srv1:~# cinder list +----+--------+------+------+-------------+----------+-------------+ | ID | Status | Name | Size | Volume Type | Bootable | Attached to | +----+--------+------+------+-------------+----------+-------------+ +----+--------+------+------+-------------+----------+-------------+ root@srv1:~#

Thanks
