Hi Leonid, thanks for your response. No, i am not assigned any floating IP. The scenario is my instance private ip has to ping with my host machine(centos machine). For this we no need of public ip know?. if i assign floating ip its working. but i only want to ping with my centos and local network.

Hi Leonid, thanks for your response.

No, i am not assigned any floating ip. i just tried to configure private cloud within my local LAN. i am not going to connect this with internet only within my on premises, so i think i don't need public network support. Here my centos ip is : 192.168.137.122 so i have created private network in the range of 192.168.137.0/24 and gateway as 192.168.137.1, so far my instance got the ip of 192.168.137.4 and 192.168.137.5. Here my centos ip and instance ip are in same network.

If i assigned floating ip then i can able to ping and ssh with my centos ip.
