2020-08-23 10:02:27 -0600 asked a question magnum: Failed to create certificates for cluster

Hi, I just installed ussuri on centos8. It seems whem I try to create a kubernetes cluster via magnum, It fails immediately. The one error I notice in the magnum-conductor logs is: ERROR oslo_messaging.rpc.server magnum.common.exception.CertificatesToClusterFailed: Failed to create certificates for Cluster. This error shows up even if my template is configured with tls_disabled. Any advise?

2020-08-16 07:19:56 -0600 asked a question magnum working config needed

I've installed openstack rdo multiple times and haven't had a time where I've been able to successfully install and configure a kubernetes cluster. The errors range from unable to create a cert for the cluster, to being unsuccessful deleting a cluster. I currently have been using the fedora-coreos image. I'm just looking for a generic working config file to use as a template to get magnum up and running. Along with octavia

I recently added more compute nodes to my devstack installation. When I goto create a new instances it fails saying unable to find suitable hosts. If I create that same instance manually specifying the new compute node, it works fine. Are there any nova scheduler changes you can suggest that will help on choosing a suitable node?
