2016-11-30 01:50:53 -0500 asked a question Instance is allocated imbalanced on multiple compute nodes when created.

Two 4core compute nodes were connected. After that, I created 8 instances using 1 vcpu, which was only scheduled on one compute node. Compute1: compute2 = 0: 8, and when 30 was created, it was scheduled as 6:14. Do not balance? Do I miss anything in my setup?

using newton version

It is set up referring to http://docs.openstack.org/ha-guide/networking-ha.html (http://docs.openstack.org/ha-guide/ne...). Do these settings need to be set to match both the controller and the network node?

We are currently aiming at 1:1 mapping of the instance network and the physical network interface. I would like to process the packets which are mirrored at external router or switch, issue is that the packets do not arrive at instance due to the virtual routing process (in neutron) that is taken just before arriving at the instance. How do I resolve the issue above?

*A newton version of openstack, neutron module and linuxbridge plugin have been used to implement.

I want to 1: 1 map the instance's network to the physical network interface. When you send a packet from the outside to a specific physical interface, you want to receive it in the instance, but the packet does not arrive at the instance due to the routing operation before it enters the instance. How do I resolve this?
