2017-05-16 07:27:03 -0600 asked a question What is fusionSphere-openstack? How does it work and how to install it?

Can you please explain in layman terms what fusionsphere openstack is..? Like we have RDO for installing Openstack, is there any way to install it? How is it different from other versions of openstack that we install like Juno, Kilo or Mitaka?

2017-05-02 02:28:48 -0600 commented question I am getting "Error:Unable to retrieve project list."

I am getting following error: "You are not authorized to perform the requested action: identity:list_projects (HTTP 403) (Request-ID: req-c24aee5e-75fa-4455-b305-fa6ab9aeca7e)"

When I navigate to Projects tab in Identity, I am getting "Error:Unable to retrieve project list.". Same goes for Users and Groups tab, although there is no issue in listing Roles. I am seeing this issue since upgrading Identity from v2.0 to v3

2016-12-17 10:15:54 -0600 asked a question Getting error "No valid host was found. There are not enough hosts available" while provisioning in Newton installed through RDO

Provisioning of instance failing with error "Error: Failed to perform requested operation on instance "swtest", the instance has an error status: Please try again later [Error: No valid host was found. There are not enough hosts available.]." In nova.conf, I have already made the ram_allocation_ratio=3, cpu_allocation_ratio=16.0, domaintype=kvm, virt_type = qemu but nothing seems to work.

Also the command "virt-host-validate" show status for "Checking for hardware virtualization" as Fail (Only emulated CPUs are available, performance will be significantly limited).

Can someone please help.

I want to use v3 instead of v2.0 for Newton release. Could someone please tell which all files do I make the changes in because by default it is going to v2.0

2016-11-08 04:53:49 -0600 asked a question What is the identity version for newton?

I want to test newton with identity version v3 but after installing latest RDO for newton, the auth-url is http://<>:5000/v2.0 in the keystonerc_admin file. Isn't it supposed to be http://<>:5000/v3 if the identity version is v3? Also how exactly do I confirm what is the version of identity for the release I have installed?
