I attached all nodes to test-net, and made cluster networking with test-net. I have no problem launching other instances using this network and they seem to work fine. I tried to set all nodes with external network and made cluster networking with external network, it passes this phase but it shows issues with portbinding. So I should use this test-net, which is meant to be private network in cloud, but I don't know why it says that Floating IP pool is not found. Where should I be looking at to solve this issue?

Or is there any way to set config to use compute-node2 as a default instead of compute-node?

2016-12-15 03:00:48 -0500 commented question managing compute nodes

I updated my question.. sorry for the delay. So on controller, nova seems to think that ther're connected. So if compute-node's resources are not enough to handle an instance I'm trying to launch,it should automatically launch the instance on compute-node2 right?

2016-12-13 19:58:55 -0500 asked a question managing compute nodes

Hi. I'm having launching an instance on compute nodes. Initially I set up three node, controller,network and compute. Launching instances worked fine and still works fine. Now I added 2 more compute nodes, say compute2 & 3. I want to launch instance on these added nodes but it seems that it only tried to launch on original compute node. I have already launched a few on compute1, so whenever I try to launch more, it says it doesn't have enough resources. I can see on my dashboard that compute2,3 are connected, and count their resources. Isn't nova-scheduler should assign an instance to any node that has enough resource for that instance? Any cofig should I change to do that? I will provide any more information needed

Hi. I'm trying to introduce Sahara to my cloud to utilize Hadoop, and it's not going well. I tried to follow Openstack Documents but it didn't really help me. Now I'm trying to add sahara to my dashboard by command "pip install sahara-dashboard".

Sahara Dashboard is located : /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/saharadashboard

original Dashboard is located : /usr/share/openstack-dashboard/openstack-dashboard, and I added

INSTALLED_APPS = [
    'openstack_dashboard',
    'saharadashboard',
    'django.contrib.contenttypes',

    'django_pyscss',
    'openstack_dashboard.django_pyscss_fix',
    'compressor',
    'horizon',
    'openstack_auth',
]

this to /usr/share/openstack-dashboard/openstack-dashboard/setting.py.

and in : /usr/share/openstack-dashboard/openstack-dashboard/local/local_settings.py , I added

    SAHARA_URL='http://localhost:8386/v1.1'

        OPENSTACK_API_VERSIONS = {

                "image": 2,
        }

     "data-processing": 1.1

I can see Sahara managment interface on Dashboard, but I'm getting this error when I try to register image in Image Registry tab of Dashboard. Hope you don't mind Korean in the image. I ought to tell you other things are working fine in my cloud. I searched through all logs related to Sahara, and nothing comes up.
