2016-08-09 01:57:26 -0600 answered a question Not able to view the interface of Horizon

In my case, port 80 use blocked on Host. Let me elaborate my use case: [Problem]

  • Installed devstack on HOST
  • All services was up and running. No error on Horizon. Apache was configured and nothing suspicious (as described above)
  • I can ping newly created VM from devstack (As I added port 22 to costume rules in "Access and Security")
  • Forgot to add port 80 in "Access and Security" rules
  • Not able to access horizon
  • Added port 80 to ccess and Security" rules

2016-08-03 22:38:33 -0600 asked a question can't ssh/ping directly, but through qrouter

I have spawned a linux VM and it up and running on host. I had spawned it with keypair and added rules for ssh as well as icmp. But I ca’t access that VM through host using ssh:

# ssh -i mykeypair1.pem ubuntu@15.2103.200.135
ssh: connect to host 15.2103.200.135 port 22: No route to host

# sudo ip netns exec qrouter-6d9ecf5d-2c89-437d-b92f-4bb41b33a091 ssh -i mykeypair1.pem ubuntu@15.2103.200.135
<Connection successful>

Any help? Thanks

2016-07-13 08:16:11 -0600 asked a question Existance of Nova Ironic and nova libvirt on same Devstack setup

Existance of Nova Ironic and Nova libvirt node on same Devstack setup

Hi, I have setup of devstack for Ironic that can provision one Baremetal system. Now I want to spawn VM from that BM. How can I achieve this using same devstack setup?

In my /etc/nova/nova.conf: compute_driver = nova.virt.ironic.IronicDriver

How can I specify one more "compute_driver"?

I am new to OpenStack, little elaborative help is much appreciated.

Thanks.
