2017-02-02 06:10:16 -0600 asked a question how do I configure mitaka to support jumbo frames

Hi,

I would like to be able to send large packets between two VMs. I've configured the following in my environment as described in http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/networking-guide/config-mtu.html (http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/netw...)

  1. In the neutron.conf file: [DEFAULT] global_physnet_mtu = 9000
  2. In the ml2_conf.ini file: [ml2] path_mtu = 9000

But I'm still unable to send large packets between VMs The tap interfaces and integration bridge MTU is still 1500

Samuel

The Apache log shows the following
