2016-11-13 22:14:00 -0600 asked a question CPU Load on instance and Controller is very high and unresponsive

Hi, I have installed a three node Openstack with Mitaka using RDO. 1 Controller + Compute Node, 1 Compute Node, 1 Network Node. There is no issue while installation and able to lunch the instances too with out any issue. But after lunching the instance when I am started working on the instance the Load is picking very high on the instance as well ont the controller node too. The same configuration I have tested with Liberty and faced the similar issue. But I am already running another configuration with Kilo and its running perfect with out any issue.

Configuation: Controller + Compute Node: 8 vCPUs 10 GB RAM 20 GB Swap

Dedicated Compute Node: 8 vCPUs 10 GB RAM 20 GB Swap

Dedicated Network Node: 2 vCPUs 4 GB RAM 8 GB Swap

Request you to please let me know if need to fine tune anything on any of the configuration.

I have freshly installed the single node Juno Openstack. But still no tunnel got built.

# cat /etc/neutron/plugins/openvswitch/ovs_neutron_plugin.ini|grep local
local_ip =192.168.174.20

where the IP 192.168.174.20 is the single controller/compute/network node.
