2016-10-05 08:54:09 -0500 asked a question How to edit the SOA record for domain in Designate?

Specifically I want to reduce the minimum TTL field from 3600 to a very low number, i.e. 2, to avoid Windows DNS servers in our office caching negative results.

Using record-update results in "Managed records may not be updated".

2015-06-24 11:52:06 -0500 asked a question Horizon counts up "Local Storage" multiple times when it is Ceph block storage

The block storage in my Openstack Kilo setup is Ceph, horizon counts up the "Local Storage" on each compute node and tells me I have (nodes * actual space)TB.

i.e the Ceph cluster is ~4TB, each nova node reports having ~4TB, so horizon shows "Local Disk Usage Used xxGB of 8TB"

Anyway to have this reported/shown correctly?

I have assumed all the defaults for a section will be used whether the header is there or not, is that correct?

2015-06-24 02:54:41 -0500 asked a question Are the empty [] enclosed section headers in the configuration files important?

In the default config files there are huge commented out sections but the section headers are not commented out, does this mean they should be left in if I want to create an easier to manage condensed file without all the commented out sections? Do they have any meaning if there are no uncommented directives before the next header?
