2015-05-08 14:07:33 -0500 answered a question Link is down in openvswitch port

Problem resolved:

1) I added ovs_use_veth = True Inside /etc/neutron/dhcp_agent.ini and /etc/neutron/l3_agent.ini

2) I destroy eth1.2001, eth1.2002, and else interfaces (no need if you use openvswitch.)

May be, it is this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1174864 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug....)

2015-05-06 05:22:03 -0500 commented answer Link is down in openvswitch port

This setup is a study lab. I use my own puppet module for deploy. May be in future, in production installation, I will use openstack-packstack-puppet, but now it is not my task, I think.

yum update and reboot nethost node don't help me.

Thank you for answer

1) Centos 7

2) I use official yum installation guide. But I'm not use gre, I use vlan and vlan bridge for communication.

I have probably same problem in juno:

(here is url, I can't post it becouse my carma is low) ${ack-openstack-domain} / question/11920/router-interfaces-down/

But I have different infrastructure. I have dedicated network node.

But in the compute node this problem is not:

And pings between VMs work, but it can't get the IP by dhcp. It is namespaces in network node:

[root@nethost ~]# ip netns
qrouter-7573b61c-1cb2-43bc-8296-421e319d2bd0
qdhcp-f8bdf250-d08f-467a-a073-003ea3165c5d
[root@nethost ~]#

The ping is works from root namespace to router, but from root to dhcp is not:

[root@nethost ~]# ip netns exec qrouter-7573b61c-1cb2-43bc-8296-421e319d2bd0 ifconfig

2015-04-29 19:19:31 -0500 asked a question Kernel panic of instances

I use centos 7 and juno on my stend. At first, all instances can be created, but maked the exception kernel panic. But after reboot, I worked. But now, all instances after create, the guest os cause kernel panic. I use nested virtualization, and use stend inside VmWare Vsphere.

This is kernel panic of sysrecueCD: http://s18.postimg.org/9xtseeezt/image.png (image description)

Also, cirros-0.3.3 has panic too.

But the Centos 6 instance not panic, but freeze:

How I can fix this problem? .
