Hi,

2015-04-13 08:26:04 -0500 asked a question Is it possible to install linux (ubuntu) directly using FUEL?

Actually i configured FUEL master node. After that while configuring slave nodes i tried to install Ubuntu or CentOS using PXE boot, but it is failing, But when i configured compute node (and also cinder) FUEL is automatically installing Ubuntu in both these nodes and on top of that it is installing compute and cinder.

So is it not possible to install Linux directly?

Thanks for the reply.

Actually i tried to install it in Virtual Machine but i have total RAM size of 4 GB (for VM). Is it mandatory to have bigger RAM size. Or can i manage with the existing one?

2015-03-16 06:26:58 -0500 asked a question Do Fuel machines need to have access to internet?

I am new to Openstack and FUEL. While going through FUEL i got some basic doubts.

Do i need to connect FUEL running machine and also source machine (where i need to install OpenStack) to the internet? How the connection settings would be. Is there any diagram available to understand FUEL connectivity?
