Hi All, I would like to know what way we can invoke the Python program using Mistral Workflow; I find Mistral DSL of action support for javascript but not Python; Let me know is there a way we can achieve calling the Python program via Mistral workflow.

2015-03-18 12:27:33 -0500 asked a question How to use Opendaylight loadbalance app in OpenStack Neutron Lbaas?

I am looking for a soultion to use (Opendaylight load balancer app) instead of using default HAProxy LbaaS provided in Neutron. For this I created "br-lbaas" ovs bridge in Neutron node and added veth pair between br-int and br-lbaas with same vlan tag to support multiple tenants in l3 networking.

Currently, I find qlbaas-'xxx' namespace has VIP and 'qrouter-xxx has floating-ip with NATing rule in iptables; I was able to ping the floating-ip; To get packet in br-lbaas bridge with vlan tag. I made tap device with VIP configured in qlbaas-xxx down for testing;

    ip netns exec qlbaas-xxxx ifconfig tapxxxx down

Now I was able to see the packet of ARP hitting in br-lbaas bridge. I hope now I am half way through :)

finally, I thought Opendaylight with loadbalancer app configured to listen on VIP will take care of rest by self learning but I could not see any packet in br-lbaas once I added the command

   ovs-vsctl set-controler br-lbaas tcp:<odl-ip>:<odl:port>

Did I configured something wrong? I was able to see the ARP packet in br-lbaas bridge interface once I delete the br-lbaas from ODL controller; I am verifying this using wireshark on interface br-lbaas.

Your question is really confusing! Do you want to have a Windows VM image with Offce installed? and that should be deployed a guestVM in the compute node?

2015-03-12 00:55:11 -0500 answered a question Where does the existing Neutron LBaaS balancing methods reside in the code?

1) Currently Neutron LbaaS make use of HAProxy of Linux ( ) and Neutron Lbaas creates namespace and a configuration file used for HAProxy.

2) HAProxy process will be started or restarted whenever there is any changes made in the pool/members specific to particular Neutron LoadBalance;

3) Algorithm specific to RoundRobin, Least connection will come in HAPorxy only; Neutron LbaaS specifies that in the HAPorxy configuration.

4) You can view the HAProxy configuration file under /opt/stack/neutron/neutron/lbaas/[lbass-namespace]/conf

5) To get the state of the LbaaS pool; we can make use of HAProxy sock created in the above specified directory with file name 'sock' by running the command [echo "show stat" | nc -U /opt/stack/neutron/neutron/lbaas/[lbass-namespace]/sock]
