How do I disable nova network and enabled neutron?

I have installed OpenStack Icehouse on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, I have a controller node and an additional compute node as follows.

nova-manage service list

Binary Host Zone Status State Updated_At nova-consoleauth openstack01 internal enabled :-) 2014-09-10 08:14:56 nova-conductor openstack01 internal enabled :-) 2014-09-10 08:14:56 nova-network openstack01 internal enabled :-) 2014-09-10 08:14:56 nova-cert openstack01 internal enabled :-) 2014-09-10 08:14:57 nova-scheduler openstack01 internal enabled :-) 2014-09-10 08:14:56 nova-compute openstack01 nova enabled :-) 2014-09-10 08:14:52 nova-compute openstack02 nova enabled :-) 2014-09-10 08:14:55 nova-network openstack02 internal enabled :-) 2014-09-10 08:20:25

I need better network management and I understand that using neutron should provide this.

I have multiple networks attached to my hosts and I'd like to be able to provision an IP from any but not all for new instances. It seems currently that a new instance is assigned an IP from each attached network and I cannot configure during provisioning.

I hope I have clearly explained my requirement. I can't locate a clear guide as to how to achieve this. I have found articles that say disable nova and enable neutron but they do not explain how to do so.

Can anyone assist?
