Swift "Unable to retrieve container list" [Solved]

Using packstack on Fedora 19 with the Havana release, I followed the instructions at here and supplemented with the instructions here.

Everything seemed fine with the install except that non-admin users could not list or create containers. In the dashboard, an admin user could list and create containers without any issues. A non-admin user navigating to the Container page would receive the error, "Error: Unable to retrieve container list." Trying to create a container would result in, "Error: Unable to create container".

On the advice of a coworker, I looked in the /etc/swift/proxy-server.conf file. In that file I found in the [filter:keystone] section, there is a setting for "operator_roles" that defaults to "admin, SwiftOperator". I added a role in the dashboard for "SwiftOperator" and assigned it to the non-admin user that couldn't use swift before. This seemed to fix my problem.
