Neutron compute nodes access Internet

Hi guys,

I deployed OpenStack cloud, using Neutron GRE network, every nodes (network or compute) have Internet access. Each node has one public IP.

As I understand, all traffic to the Internet must go through Network node. That MAY cause bottleneck on network node (since I intend deploy public services on VMs).

I wonder is there any way to make Internet traffic go directly from VMs to local host to Internet? will it affect the LBaaS or FWaaS?
