cannot restart devstack

I'm running devstack on ubuntu. I did the following: 1. ./stack.sh 2. Verified the Horizon GUI, logged in as administrator 3. ./unstack.sh 4. Tried to log on again but the browser it says it can't connect

Another scenario: 1. I reboot my computer without running ./unstack.sh. 2. After reboot, I run ./rejoin_stack.sh 3. Try to log on to Horizon GUI. The screen does come up but I get an error: "Unable to authenticate, please try again later".

I guess my question is: 1. How do I bounce openstack. 2. How do I ensure all services are up after the reboot. 3. When should I run ./unstack.sh and and what do I need to do to bring the services back after I run it.

Note: I've seen a few similar questions on restarting openstack but they haven't helped.
