openstack single node single nic

I would like to install OpenStack 2013.1.1 on Ubuntu 13.04 that is installed in my notebook.
I thought to follow this guide: https://github.com/mseknibilel/OpenStack-Grizzly-Install-Guide/blob/master/OpenStack_Grizzly_Install_Guide.rst but i have some doubts:

  1. I have only 1 NIC so what i have to do? Just ignore where the guide say "add eth0 10.10.100.51"?
  2. I want that all the VMs can be connected to my LAN (192.168.1.1/24) so with 1 NIC is this possible?

Thanks
