Cannot connect instance in network

After following the guide in DevStack Neutron guide on the OpenStack wiki, I'm unable to deploy OpenStack instances in my private network, by means of floating IPs.

With this configuration, my Internet connection is down, and I can only ping my host, and other instances deployed in OpenStack. Incidentally, any server that is running outside OpenStack and in that address range is also unreachable.

Below follows the configuration I used:

[[local|localrc]]
HOST_IP=10.123.230.21
SERVICE_HOST=10.123.230.21
MYSQL_HOST=10.123.230.21

My server is running on top of a hypervisor, on CentOS 7. It has two Ethernet ports (eth0 and eth1), both with an IP address associated to them.

When I try to ping anything on the Internet the instance returns 'Destination Host Unreachable'.
