Floating IPs not routed.

Hello,

I am using the latest devstack, and have installed it on a bare metal server with only one ethernet port. The problem is that after creating an instance and associating a floating ip to it, it is not reachable either via ssh nor ICMP. The security rules have been adjusted to allow TCP and ICMP traffic, also the floating IPs are not reachable from the server itself as well.The router is attached to the public and private network in openstack, do I need to have another ethernet port for instance communication, if so how would that be configured :) ?

enter code here
 ifconfig br-ex
      br-ex     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 8e:4b:8b:c4:00:40
      inet addr:100.99.56.3  Bcast:100.99.56.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
      inet6 addr: fe80::8c4b:8bff:fec4:40/64 Scope:Link
      UP BROADCAST RUNNING PROMISC MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
      RX packets:11026 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
      TX packets:456 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
      collisions:0 txqueuelen:1

ifconfig eno1
      eno1      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 0c:c4:7a:70:78:86
      inet addr:100.99.56.2  Bcast:100.99.56.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
      inet6 addr: fe80::ec4:7aff:fe70:7886/64 Scope:Link
      UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
      RX packets:2145931 errors:0 dropped:22534 overruns:0 frame:0
      TX packets:823925 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
      collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
      RX bytes:2690694462 (2.6 GB)  TX bytes:74878330 (74.8 MB)

I acknolledge that I may be missing something so all help is appreciated, as I am fairly new to openstack, and I have read through a lot of the documentation but I realize that I still have some way to go before being proficient :). Thank you in advance.
