Routing between two private networks with Neutron

Hi guys,

I have set up a multi-node openstack deployment, using the provider router, with private networks option. I can assign floating IPs to my instances, and access them without any problems.

I then tried to create multiple private networks, with a single machine connected two each. I created a router, and added a port from each network to the router. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to route between the machines. Is there something I am missing?

Heres the view of the Network Topology: Network Topology

As you can see there are two instances, one connected to the service network with an IP 20.0.13, and one connected to the data network with an IP 20.0.0.2. The router sits between the two.

Any ideas on what I have missed? I did try adding explicit route rules to the two subnets, but that'd didn't seem to help.
