Hello.

I have problems with my openstack installation. I am usign the procedure from the next link: http://docs.openstack.org/liberty/ins...

At the section called "Create the service entity and API endpoints", I have the next issue: When I excute the next:

--name keystone --description "OpenStack Identity" identity

I have the nexts result:

Internal Server Error (HTTP 500)

For that, I excute the next only for obtein more information:

[root@controller ~]# openstack service create --debug --name keystone --description "OpenStack Identity" identity

This looks like a version mismatch between client and servers or some libraries in the servers. Liberty is two releases old; I would use the latest install guides http://docs.openstack.org/project-ins....

The openstack-keystone service is not meant to be active (that's why it's disabled on boot). One step before this one in the document you were following has instruction on how to configure apache to front-end keystone. That takes the place of the openstack-keystone service.

You can check the keystone logs in /var/log/httpd to see if you can find more details about why the identify service is throwing a server error.

I would not be surprised if Bernd Bausch is correct and you've got some kind of version mismatch going on. Is there a reason you're using a release (Liberty) that was end-of-lifed on November 17, 2016?

I'd follow Bernd's recommendation and start over with the current release: http://docs.openstack.org/project-ins...
