I have just read the LBaaS v2 and Octavia installation and I am trying to follow the installation guide with DevStack on Ubuntu 14.04 . However, I have error from neutron.db.models import agent as agents_db . ImportError: No module named models. Searching through the internet has not helped. Please does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this ?? Thanks in advance.

I have a similar problem - setting up stable Newton devstack, it tells me that neutron-lib has no module named plugins. Which is true. For some reason an older version of neutron-lib is used, which doesn't contain "plugins". I don't have a solution yet, but it seems to be a version mismatch.

What release of OpenStack and neutron-lbaas are you using? That change to models was for master/Ocata. I am wondering if there is a mix of versions here. See this patch and it's referenced patch in neutron.

@johnsom I am using stable/liberty openstack version 1.7.2 , neutron version 3.1.1 . I also checked out lbaas version 2 as specified in the instructions here -- . How can I apply the patches you mentioned above?

Apache cannot start any longer .. i suspect because of the haproxy. This makes the installation fail.
