So incomplete and inaccurate - does anybody maintain it?

Bernd, I know how to contribute to the project. My question had nothing to do with it. Let me rephrase: how can development process exist if the basic 'getting started' documents do not cover the basics? For example the essential stack.sh documentation does not mention the word 'reboot' and whatever that scripts sets up does not persist. There are endless discussions in this forum on how to resume after reboot but no good answers are provided anywhere. This should be in the document.

I guess there are no good answers. devstack doesn't survive reboots very well, YMMV. I understood that after much frustration. Yes it could be better documented, but the doc does say that it's a tool for developers and testers. If you want to use it for anyhing else you are on your own.
