neutron packstack installation error - Error: Could not set 'present' on ensure: Cannot allocate memory

When doing a installation with either the --allinone option or the answers file I get the same errors.

Look through the log files but nothing conclusive

ERROR : Error appeared during Puppet run:
Error: Could not set 'present' on ensure: Cannot allocate memory - fork(2) at 59:/var/tmp/packstack/b5db59b3812c418c807743453ebcfc12/modules/packstack/manifests/keystone.pp
You will find full trace in log /var/tmp/packstack/20161025-210056-7QiaS7/manifests/
Please check log file /var/tmp/packstack/20161025-210056-7QiaS7/openstack-setup.log for more information
Additional information:
 * File /root/keystonerc_admin has been created on OpenStack client host To use the command line tools you need to source the file.
 * To access the OpenStack Dashboard browse to .
Please, find your login credentials stored in the keystonerc_admin in your home directory.

well, it sounds that you don't have enough RAM. You need to have 4 GB as I remember for Packstack all-in-one as of now. Maybe commands free -m and cat /proc/meminfo

Thanks .. looked like a memory related issue, had initially configured it with 4GB but still failed. For some reason I allocated 6GB of memory and problem was resolved.
