  • I am using Openstack Havana on Ubuntu 12.04.
  • Nova configured to use Docker driver.
  • Docker images are stored in glance.
  • I can successfully launch containers using nova boot, but I cannot delete them from nova.

Is this intentional? Is it a function that has not been added yet?

I end up needing to remove the instance from nova's database. This is the error I get from nova's compute log after executing "nova delete [container-id]":

nova.openstack.common.rpc.amqp TypeError: destroy() got an unexpected keyword argument 'context'

Thanks in advance.

As a solution, I found these changes and had them applied to my current installation: https://github.com/openstack/nova/commit/c0e546ace478277cc2911b1c5bef1e082b76b546

Hopefully this will be updated in openstack's source code by next release. (lol)
