It doesn't work i have

 openstack-servicesĀ : commande introuvable

I tryed also screen -c stack stack-screenrc

Call to list supported extensions failed. This is likely due to a problem communicating with the Nova endpoint. Host Aggregates panel will not be displayed

Hi safa,

This kind of error happens when some of the service are not installed . To sort the issue, first check if all service are running or not.

openstack service list

Use the above command to check the running service.

You have to use this command with admin privilages. I guess you didn't do so and this is why you got this error message

Yes I use it with root privileges and it doesn't work...

root privilage in linux is different with admin privilage in openstack. Can I ask how you pass your admin credentials? it should be something like this:

export OS_TENANT_NAME=admin
export OS_USERNAME=admin
export OS_PASSWORD=admin_pass
export OS_AUTH_URL=http://controller:35357/v2.0

You can store your credential in an openrc.sh file and use it whenever you need it. let's say you put your admin credential in a file called admin_openrc.sh. Then use it with "source" command as follow:

source admin_openrc.sh
